James Potter was born on March 27, 1960 and Sirius Black close the end of 1959. Like any other young wizard the recived their Hogwarts Letter at the age of ten when they met, at the very first day in Hogwart's Express when they became friends and with the time they grew to become best friends. Together they met Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew, and the four became known as The Marauders, the creators of the Marauder's Map. James and Sirius were always getting in trouble, they were very popular, troublemakers and good at anything, according to Remus. As the result of his conflictive relationship with his family, Sirius ran away at the age of sixteen to Jame's parents house. They then graduated from Hogwarts and almost inmediatly they joined the newborn Order of the Pheonix, for the First Magic War was beginning and Albus Dumbledore wanted to fight back with the help of all those who wanted to join. James married his girlfriend, Lily Evans in 1978 and had their first and only son, Harry Potter at 1980, Sirius was of course still the best friend of James, he was the best man in Jame's and Lily's weeding and some time later, the Godfather of their son. When the manace of the Prophecy of Trewlaney appeared, James insisted he wanted Sirius to be his secret keeper but Sirius refused, afraid to do something wrong and put the Potter's lives in danger, instead he insisted on using Peter, decision that led to the Potter's deaths. Sirius lived specially to help and protect Harry, for, as Rowling says, the love he felt for James was transmited to Harry, still, Sirius saw in Harry a way to be with James again. The imprisonment in Azkaban and James' death, led Sirius to a delicate state after Azkaban and to the day of his death.
